We took a bus ride to North/South Lake. Mr. Carrozza told us about the grand hotels of the past and the Catskill Mountain House as we stood in its location until it was burned down. by the ledge we found old names and dates carved in the stone. We found painter, Thomas Cole and the owner of the hotel by the name of Beach.
We spent most of our time hiking the Blue Trail to Boulder Rock. There, we ate lunch. After that we hiked back and relaxed by South Lake.
